DESCRIPTION:Owámniyomni (St. Anthony Falls) has been a place of profound spiritual and cultural significance for Dakota and other Indigenous people for countless generations\, yet most people raised in Minnesota know nothing of this long history. \nJoin Barry Hand\, Owámniyomni Okhódayapi program director\, for a 60-minute guided site visit of the Falls and the Upper Lock. Learn about Dakota lifeways\, the significance of the River\, and the Mní Sóta Dakota Tribes’ vision for cultural and environmental restoration. \n**The September tour will depart from the WEST ENTRY of the Stone Arch Bridge. Address: 100 W River Parkway\, Minneapolis\, 55401** \nThis tour is open to the public. Private tours are available for school groups\, non-profit organizations\, corporations and government agencies.
