DESCRIPTION:“All events are free for Native community members. Site admission is required for the general public. Admission to Historic Fort Snelling is $12 for adults\, $10 for seniors (65+)\, college students (with ID)\, and active military\, $8 for children 5-17\, and free for children 4 and under\, MNHS Members\, Native Americans\, and veterans. \nTaŋyáŋ Yahípi yedo! (Welcome All) \nWe will continue marking our return and asserting our continued presence on this sacred land where the rivers meet. We invite you to join us for the 4th Dakhóta Omníčiye and share community knowledge\, teachings\, and stories with one another. This day will include hands-on cultural workshops\, artist teachings\, film screening\, book readings\, and presentations from various members of our communities. \nWe are celebrating our Dakota community on this day! \nThe day includes public events open to everyone as well as special events for Native community members: \n8:30 – Morning Prayer \n9:00 – Breakfast \n10:00 – Dakota Artists\, Films\, and Speakers \nNoon – Lunch \n1:00 – Dakota Language and Knowledge \n5:00 – Keynote Speaker: Shelley Buck \n6:00 – Community Dinner”
