The session will consider how to make plans for significant sites that have faced desecration\, how to build bridges between tribes and communities\, and how to re-envision aging federal infrastructure. \nParticipants can anticipate the following learning outcomes: \n\n\nImprove your understanding of the Native American worldview\, experience\, and sovereignty.\nLearn how to authentically engage tribal nations and urban Indians at sites significant to both native people and the broader community.\nBuild understanding of how local actors can advance the public interest on defunct federally owned sites.
